If only… this is what I would want to do and oh my goodness! this gown… if ever there was a reason to call a dress a gown, then this is the gown of gowns.  It gives me shivers and sends me to a happy place.

One of Real Weddings Magazine’s (my fav magazine for all that is bridey!) latest blogs is about a fabulous chance to be an Empress bride – beyond a princess, that’s so last decade – at the Levin Hotel in London (http://www.thelevinhotel.co.uk).

There is more dreamy information, inspiration and drool worthy photos at their blog http://realweddingsblog.blogspot.com/2010/01/dream-deal.html  I’m going back to dreaming about that dress…

It’s only in early stages yet, but launch day will be here before you know it!  March 2010 and there couldn’t be a better time to launch the competition to Win the Wedding of Your Dreams!  The gorgeous Rebecca from Couture Bridez is organising this special day and I’m so excited to be sponsoring the Bridal Flowers that I couldn’t help but spill the beans!  Being a bride-to-be, it’s even more exciting for me to share this.  I can’t wait for all the details to be finalised and to meet some of the beautiful fellow brides-to-be (or is that bride-to-be’s??)

To keep up to date with the competition progress please go to http://www.winyourdreamwedding.com.au or keep an eye out on my page http://www.mercibouquet.com.au/win-your-dream-wedding

The Monday morning pretty pretty is the gorgeous Mr Lincoln rose – if only you could smell his divine fragrance!  During the day he sits beside me and at night I place him on my bedside table, so I constantly have the sweet rosey scent following me.

    DivineWaterLilies

Another day at Balmain Markets and as always there was a favourite bunch of flowers that stood out and sang to me that I wanted to take home and take care of – my heavenly-sent mulberry coloured Water Lilies.  I already started calling them mine, so I guess no one had a chance.  Plenty of people asked about them, of course! And I thought for sure they’d go early, but they stayed there waiting for me :o)  They’re now sitting so peacefully and content together in my large fishbowl.  When I placed them in their new home last night, they were shy, near closed, but this morning the first thing I see are my beautiful open Water Lilies singing their ethereal song in the early morning sunlight.  Immediately I felt joy and had a smile on my face, what a way to start a Sunday :o)

    Oh Water Lily
    Oh sweet and fragrant lily,
    from still water… quietly,
you find your way to sunshine,
    and the bumble bee.
